- Red Bull have announced the appointment of Jurgen Klopp as the organisation’s new head of international football.
- Klopp will officially take up his post on January 1, 2025.
- He will serve as an advisor to all football clubs affiliated with Red Bull.
Global beverage brand Red Bull has announced the appointment of Jurgen Klopp as the organization’s new Head of International Football.
“After almost 25 years on the pitch, I am incredibly excited to be involved in this ยูฟ่าเบท project. The role may be different. But the passion I have for football and the people who love it remains the same,” Klopp said.
“By working with Red Bull on a global scale. I want to develop, improve and support the best football talent within our group. There are many ways to do this, from using the vast knowledge and experience Red Bull already has from other sports and industries.”
“We can explore what is possible together. I see my role mainly as an advisor to the coaches and executives of the Red Bull clubs, but most importantly I am part of a special, modern and forward-looking organisation. As I said, I am very excited.”
The former Liverpool boss will officially take up his role on January 1, 2025, and will be responsible for advising all Red Bull clubs on matters such as coaching, player development and transfers.
Red Bull’s football clubs include RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg, New York Red Bulls, Red Bull Braga and Red Bull Bragatino. Red Bull also owns a minority stake in Championship side Leeds United.
