The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced. It will adjust the program for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Which will be hosted in the Ivory Coast. It was originally scheduled to kick off in June-July 2023. But will move to early 2024 instead.
For the reason that the CAF has to adjust the competition program because during the Ivory. Coast is a rainy season with the amount of heavy rain. Which may affect the said football competition. But the exact race time has not yet come out.
Dr Patrice Mostepe, president of the African Football Confederation said. We have a need to adjust the program of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Which may be moved to January-February 2024. There will be another meeting in Morocco. Once finalized, we will inform you again officially.”
